Receive God's Warm Love Through Reflection

Love, Love, Love

on May 6, 2013

God tells us over and over again to love. Love our neighbor, our loved ones, love God. To love so that we may receive pure joy and hope. God tells us that Love encompasses all things – peace, joy, comfort, hope, trust, and kindness. Pure love. And, since God is Love, let us desire and seek love through God in all we do. Go act and live with love in all you do, gaining strength from Him.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres…. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” – 1 Corinthians

“Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” – Psalm 23:6

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” – Ephesians 4:2

“My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ” – Colossians 2:2
