Take a breath

A great relaxing technique is to take deep breaths. Inhale through your nose as long as you can, then hold it as you count in your head to 8-10, then exhale slowly through your mouth. Notice your chest and tummy letting go.

I like to use my arms while I inhale and exhale – as you inhale lift your arms up, then as you exhale, slowly bring your arms down.

Good breathing techniques help with aligning your energy throughout your body and calming your mind.

I like to do this multiple times throughout the day when I’m feeling anxious or stressed. It even helps in the car, with relaxation as I drive and with concentrating on steady positive thoughts.
