Receive God's Warm Love Through Reflection

Waiting

on January 5, 2015

Waiting. It seems like many of us are always waiting for something. We focus ahead and dwell on something upcoming. We feel that whatever is to come will be better and give us more happiness.

Remember that life isn’t waiting. It’s moving along and we can’t let it pass by.

I know that I am guilty of this. I tend to worry about future things. But then once in a while I reflect and ask- where did the year go? Why is it going by too fast? Why did I waste time?

As the new year begins, take a look at this past year and ask yourself what really mattered and what you really loved.

Happiness is achieved when you stop waiting  and start making something of the moment you’re in right now.

Don’t wait for anything. Embrace whatever comes your way in that moment!

What are some things you do and tell yourself to focus on the NOW? How can you better enjoy your life?

Maybe you need to find a quiet spot and pray. Maybe you need to get outside and be mindful of the world around you. Perhaps try stilling your mind to just one thought. Exercise and let the thrill of it infuse you with life. Meet up with just one friend and talk openly and honestly. Simplify your life, reorganize. Take care of yourself and follow your dreams.

I pray that we may all be mindful of the present and let go of anything that distracts us from enjoying life.

Stop waiting and start living!

And remember in every second of life, God is watching over you. Let Him lead you to live a fulfilling life today.
