Receive God's Warm Love Through Reflection

Recycled Post: Everthing is a Balance

on June 14, 2015

This post is from October 2013:

What do you want in your life that you wish you had right now? Do you focus too much on that?

Many times our perspective is on what is lacking or what we messed up on in the past. We regret and wish things could be re-done differently, or we wish and dwell on future hopes too much. While hoping is good, to help motivate us in the right direction and take action to get someplace, we need to be grounded in the present.

Remember everything is a balance. We need to be balanced in body, mind, and soul. Direct your thoughts in a balanced manner to what is good and what is present. Let your soul be focused on God. And let your actions take things one at a time. Everything needs to be in balance. Good health is taking things in moderation and staying grounded in God.

Celebrate all the choices you’ve made up until now. See the positive in every situation. You have been shaped into the person you are today because of those choices. Now let it all go.

Then, celebrate today. Soak up the moment and think about how you can use today the best of your ability, to make tomorrow special because of it. Savor the small moments and express gratitude for what is happening NOW.

You can dream in a healthy manner of what you want to be or where you want to go in the future, but don’t let future thoughts overtake you. Let them lightly push you in the right direction and prepare you for what’s ahead.

Keep track of all your “to-do’s” and tackle each task little by little. Then celebrate at the end of each day by doing something you love. You’ll feel accomplished yet happily balanced in work and play, in future planning and present happiness.

Everything is a balance! Let God keep you grounded, especially in the beautiful present.
